I have found the same issue. In Ubuntu 24.04 LTS under Wayland, with my main (laptop) monitor at 200%, and an external display at 100%, if I open a window (e.g. a terminal in the 200% monitor), the moment I click anywhere else, the window gets resized to half the size.
I also realized that it doesn't happen when fractional scaling is enabled, in case anyone arrives here looking for a solution for double monitor setup. Did you report it in mutter at the end? I can't find the issue there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2026255 Title: New windows have confused sizing when monitors are set to different scaling factors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2026255/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
