Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
I'm using feisty fawn. This bug-report screen won't let me attach a file, but I'll attach an avi in the next step. If I play with mplayer the audio output is perfect. mplayer reports the audio as: Opening audio decoder: [pcm] Uncompressed PCM audio decoder AUDIO: 16000 Hz, 1 ch, u8, 128.0 kbit/100.00% (ratio: 16000->16000) Selected audio codec: [pcm] afm: pcm (Uncompressed PCM) but totem plays a load of static barely overlaid with the original soundtrack. xine also plays fine, although I am using totem-xine... go figure (xinelib 1.1.4) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Apr 4 19:12:13 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem Package: totem-xine 2.18.0-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: totem ProcCwd: /home/anne ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=en_GB:en_US:en_GB:en SourcePackage: totem Uname: Linux rattle 2.6.20-13-lowlatency #2 SMP PREEMPT Sun Mar 25 00:23:53 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- noisy audio decode error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102991 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
