Hi, Georgia. Thanks for responding. To my surprise, I am indeed using Desktop Icons NG (DING). I have no idea when I installed it, or why. This Ubuntu installation is probably five years old; I've only upgraded over the years. If I disable the extension, all my Desktop icons disappear.
I tried opening /var/log/syslog with nano and gedit, but it's extremely slow and cumbersome. Do you know how to extract only the messages with the term 'apparmor' that appear since last boot? I imagine there's a command for that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2047256 Title: Ubuntu 24.04 Some image thumbnails no longer displayed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/2047256/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
