Public bug reported: Maximized GTK 2 apps does not restore maximized state when run under "Ubuntu on Xorg" session in 24.04 and 24.10.
Steps to reproduce: - Install gtk 2 app which saves windows state, e.g. GIMP. - Start GIMP. Maximize GIMP window. Close GIMP. - Start GIMP again. Result: GIMP starts in non-maximized state. Expected result: GIMP starts maximized. Under Wayland session maximized state restored correctly. Reproducible under ubuntu 24.04 and 24.10.
