I attached the xrandr output. Be advised the two monitors are using
different cables (HDMI and DisplayPort). I am going to buy a new
DisplayPort cable to further test this.

While there is no crash related to this in /var/crash, the shell white
screen forces the logout and clearly tells that something wrong
happened.

Even if I could, I canĀ“t risk to hang the entire system with ubuntu-bug
anymore. As I said, this operation always kills the interactivity with
Ubuntu and I am forced to reboot from ssh.
