The same bug is now present on a completely different DELL model (from 2013), running Linux Mint 22 (cinnamon). This started happening after the latest kernel update to 6.8-48 a couple of days ago. I believe Mint is using the same kernels as in 24.04 LTS. If that's so, could it be that ubuntu changed something in the way they compile kernels in the last month, for both LTS and -current?
