> I enabled "noble-proposed" on Ubuntu 24.04, but I am not getting the version "1:46.4-0ubuntu0.24.04.1" even after "apt update && apt upgrade". Still I have "gnome-control-center 1:46.0.1-1ubuntu7"
Well, I needed to install the update manually using `sudo apt install gnome-control-center -t noble-proposed`. I thought that if I enable the setting "noble-proposed" then any such update will be installed automatically. But it doesn't work from some reason. Maybe it's by design. So now I have installed "gnome-control-center 1:46.4-0ubuntu0.24.04.1" and I can confirm that setting "Automatic Time Zone" persists. However I noticed that the setting doesn't work. If I disable the "Auto" setting and choose a timezone manually (a current time switches to that TZ ✅) and then enable the "Auto" setting, the last selected time zone is still selected and TZ of my region isn't detected 🐛 (though I have enabled Location in Privacy&Security) and therefore my current time isn't changed 🐛 . I tried to restart OS, but it didn't help. I had to change the timezone manually to my regional TZ. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2073430 Title: Automatic Time Zone not working on 24.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/2073430/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
