That's expected for EGL apps, because
`/usr/share/glvnd/egl_vendor.d/10_nvidia.json` comes before
`/usr/share/glvnd/egl_vendor.d/50_nvidia.json`.

switcherooctl also does not support switching EGL vendor at the moment.
