Thank you for your test, Francois. I verify that with this update, the Applications tab of gnome-control- center no longer shows apps.
I was able to fix this on my machine by installing the binary package malcontent Therefore, I believe we should do a follow-up SRU to add malcontent to gnome-control-center's Depends. Additionally, none of the malcontent packages are in main in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS yet. ** Tags removed: verification-done-noble verification-needed ** Tags added: verification-failed verification-failed-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072772 Title: The package is build without malcontent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2072772/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
