Hi there, thanks for your reply. In the meantime I found this bug report
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/7587 and this https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/3372 which address the issue. For now I downloaded the new mutter packages from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu/pool/main/m/mutter/ All deb-files with '46.1-2ubuntu1' on this page and installed them with 'dpkg -i...'. This solves the problem and so far no other side effects. It would be good, if these packages are updated in noble (24.04) soon. ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues #7587 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/7587 ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues #3372 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/3372 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2069048 Title: gnome-shell crash (signal 11) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2069048/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
