Alexander, the trick did not work for me (on 3 computers having Xubuntu 22.04.3).
Note for next viewers: I still had the issue on a second laptop (Xubuntu 22.04.3), and today the issue is gone, it seems it is because I cleared the content of the folder of './cache/gnome-software' then reboot the computer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1900167 Title: gnome-software unable to install updates (Prepared update not found) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1900167/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
