Even with GDM3... The problem seems to be the foundation somewhere, as
this one was installed originally as Kubuntu from the Kubuntu 23.10
installer ISO.

The second on that was the comaparison was originally installed from the
Ubuntu 23.10.1 Installer ISO.

This test originally was spurned from three users telling that htey were
gettig core 1 of their CPU's pegged at 100% when installed with the
Kubuntu iso, but had no trouble at all installing with the Ubuntu iso,
then adding the Kubuntu Desktop to it...

Ohter Kubuntu users were having locking problems, if installed from the
Kubuntu iso... The idea was brought up to try other desktops to see if
there was a locking problem with those desktop installed on a Kubuntu
foundation, with parallel tests of being installed from the Ubuntu iso
as the comparison...

I could not replicate that CPU problem, nor the system locking up, but I
did find this. This test case #1 randomly crashes back to the Login
Manager, no matter which DM is set to the Default... Even If I set GDM3,
and/or SDDM as the DM.

Like I said above, installing ubuntu-desktop on top of that, actually
sorted out a lot of the initial problems it was having.
