Yeah.. That "Couldn't get locale for language: (null)" warning comes from a patch which I wrote initially, and first I feared that the segfault is related to that. But it's not. I committed a fix which will get rid of the warning in this situation:
https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/gnome-control- center/-/commit/53e9a9a2 But it still segfaults. For some reason it fails to fetch the user data properly. My thought is that since the problem seems to be gone in g-c-c 1:44~rc, it's not worth it to figure out why exactly the alpha version crashes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2011313 Title: gnome-control-center crashes after launch To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2011313/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
