Public bug reported: I have a new laptop and Nautilus hangs on the first search I try it on after the laptop is restarted or logged in. I never had this problem with the old laptops, so it is new to me, but I did find others complaining about it. It seems to be something related to the tracker: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1257693/files-nautilus-hangs-at-start-and-for-searches?noredirect=1#comment2463463_1257693
While Nautilus hangs I get a system notice to either wait for it or close it, but if I close it, I never get through and I get the same but next time I search, so I have to wait. This wait can take 2 seconds or 15 seconds.
