I started 156 instances for both: * an impish image with systemd 248.3-1ubuntu8.5 * a focal image with systemd 245.4-4ubuntu3.16
In both images, I also removed the workaround in /etc/systemd/system/dbus.service.d (Environment=SYSTEMD_NSS_DYNAMIC_BYPASS=1) to make sure I was really testing the fix. None of the instances shown any provisioning issue (cloud-init was always done withing 5min). This was the main symptom we were observing previously with this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1871538 Title: dbus timeout-ed during an upgrade, taking services down including gdm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dbus/+bug/1871538/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
