I don't know what mutter is or if it's responsible but since automatic update of 20.04 on Thursday, I believe, at the next bootup the screen has a black border around the usual screen display, i.e. shrunken desktop. NVideo card used. Search sent me here but for font size issues. Please keep me informed if this is your doing and how to fix it. Nothing seems to fix it but the Phillips Monitor is full screen when it comes on with Phillips banner so I suggest it is being done inside the box!
