Corruption regressed to the point that system would become unresponsive as the display flickered back and forth between an old and current state. If the system monitor app was running you could see the plots progress in an odd stop motion.
Tried a number of other distributions but kept getting corruption. Reverted the system back to Ubuntu 18.04, which was the last release that didn't have video corruption. Have been running 18.04 for a week with no evidence of display issues. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1886345 Title: [i915][snb] Icons and text corrupted and/or missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1886345/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
