The other bug isn't about application crashes, it's about gnome-shell crashes which for Xorg sessions you might not notice happening. Especially if you're in an application trying to go full screen.
To be sure which issue this is, please: 1. Reproduce the bug. 2. Reboot. 3. Run: xrandr --verbose > xrandr.txt journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt lspci -kv > lspci.txt dpkg -l > packages.txt and attach the resulting text files here. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1897765 gnome-shell crashed with signal 5 in g_log("Error in freeze/thaw accounting") from meta_window_actor_thaw() from WindowManager::_sizeChangedWindow ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Bug watch removed: Debian Bug tracker #975453 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=975453 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1905637 Title: Games don't go full screen correctly with newer version of libmutter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1905637/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
