** Description changed: After I updated GNOME via snap refresh, I rebooted the PC and then clicked on my username. I entered my password the first time incorrectly. However, when I was typing my password in the second time, after the 5th character, the password text-field truncated that text from the left so that only the last 4 characters would be in the text field. This forced me to re-enter my password again and happens when I log into my account immediately after boot. The password field should not clear or truncate any input when I type into it. The moment the text field becomes active, it should retain all text instead of clearing it out.
