I didn't know that X11 and Gnome had two separate clipboards. In my previous example, I only used my keyboard. I rebooted my computer this morning and copy/paste fail as usual with my keyboard. However, I tried the middle click of my mouse and it works (at least in LibreOffice). So this bug is not from X11.
