It seems that one of the updates that just happened via apt might have fixed the issue? attached is dmesg log... does it look like expected behavior? My fans are properly turning off, and when I open my laptop lid, I'm not getting the delayed sleep mode. BIOS update
I'm not sure exactly which package solved it. I've attached the most recent list of packages upgraded by apt, as well.
