I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 since it came out, but are effected by this bug only since two weeks. What I noticed: I have a couple of programs setup to start automatically (via gnome-session-properties). When I log in and get kicked out because of this bug, those programs where never started at all. On a normal Login they start fine.
