Public bug reported: By GUI, no choice can be made to format a partition to a non-listed file system type since version 3.28 (only verified versions in LTS Ubuntu and derivatives).
Here talking about gnome-disk-utility 3.28 in PeppermintOS 10 (based on Lubuntu LTS). For exanmple, in former versions (3.18) there was a menu driven possibilty to insert a non-listed file type into a blank input field by typing the file system's name; for ex.: "reiserfs" or "reiser4" Now, how to input file system types not listed in the menus of 3.28 ? Workaround ? ** Affects: gnome-disk-utility (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: choice file type -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-disk-utility in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1854346 Title: No choice can be made to format non-listed file type To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-disk-utility/+bug/1854346/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
