Yes, the issue still happens with 3.34. My work around is to trigger the following script through a keyboard shortcut. gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad send-events disabled sleep 1 gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad send-events enabled gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad tap-to-click false sleep 1 gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad tap-to-click true
