Steps to reproduce:
1. Make the on-screen keyboard appear by tapping on a text field on doing a 
swipe up on the screen with your finger (see video).
2. Tap the arrow down key to hide the OSK

Expected result: the OSK disappears

Actual result: The OSK leaves dark traces on the sides of the screen.
