Hi Daniel,

At some point the syslog messages stopped being logged for an unknown
reason. This was not preceded by a restart or an installation /
uninstallation of a package or extension. For the past few days I have
tried many things to try to recreate the bug but I have failed.

If you see appropriate, please go ahead and close the bug report for
now, because I have no idea how to recreate it.
