I'm using Ubuntu 18.04.02
gedit-plugin-join-lines 3.28.1-1
When joining lines, if the last line of the edit buffer is an empty line
and that line is part of the selection gEdit will become unresponsive
immediately on pressing ctrl-J to join the lines. Empty lines otherwise
do not cause issues.
