Public bug reported: My hardware: GT218 in a NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS rev 3. Driver: Nvidia 340.107
Ubuntu 19.04 does not display any graphics, it stays at the display of the CLI, after announcing the start of the gnome display manager. I tried a fresh install of Ubuntu 19.04 and I tried to add the Ubuntu desktop to Xubuntu 19.04 with the same display manager, giving the same result. The driver works well with Xubuntu 19.04 and Ubuntu Mate 19.04.
