Public bug reported: Using ubuntu 6.06 on an MSI S260 laptop. when pressing the "power" button on the top right hand side of the top gnome pannel, the screen greys out and a new menu of log out, lock screen, switch user along the top and shutdown, hibernate, reboot along the bottom.
At some point during updates, I can't be exact as I don't often use the power off menu, the power off and reboot button appears to have dissapeared. I am not running any 3rd party applications or graphical enchancments such as beryl or compiz. I'm using a fully updated Xorg from 6.06 with the intel 810 driver. Ubuntu is running fully updated on all installed packages. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Unconfirmed -- Missing Shutdown and Reboot buttons from gnome "power" button https://beta.launchpad.net/bugs/93551 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
