I use totem-gstreamer. I like using the defaults. I think it would be a bummer to release Feisty without DVD playback capability (after the user manually installs libdvdcss2 that is).
VLC has its own problems (the wxGTK UI has bugs under Ubuntu -- the volume meter is not displaying) and mplayer sucks (that app is always on a whack).
