Public bug reported: Over the last couple of weeks gnome-control-center has autonomously uninstalled (or perhaps just disabled) twice: once as I uninstalled wpa_supplicant, and the second time when I uninstalled NetworkManager (and installed WICD instead). In both cases, trying to run gnome-control-center from either the GUI or from the CLI failed (giving me a not installed error in the CLI), Simply installing using apt install gnome-control-center fixed it. I'm fairly certain that this isn't supposed to happen.
