This just happened to me twice as well, after the first reboot after upgrading the kernel to 4.18.0-16-generic. System had been running for a few days (with several reboots) on 4.18.0-15-generic with no issues. After logging in for the second time without rebooting everything is good so far. Attaching the journal up from boot up to the crash moment.
