Still working on getting the fix into cosmic first. Although it's easy to forget this bug is for Wayland only. In theory Xorg sessions don't need fixing. In practice though, I find 120Hz displays sometimes need a lot of encouragement to go above 60Hz even on Xorg. I think that problem is a general performance one, which might be fixed by:
