I've hit this bug, just now. It doesn't occur with my own user account,
but it does occur with any user account I create with the 'desktop'
profile. What's going on?

There is one difference though. It doesn't save the file, nor do I get
any output on the terminal. THe window just stays grayed out and it
waits forever...

PS. Upgrading this user's privileges didn't help. I've created two test-
accounts just to be sure. One is a desktop user (but with adminstration
privileges) and one is an administrator. They 'privileges' are identical
.. only the profile used to create the two accounts are different. I
expected these profiles to just set up some default privileges, which I
can also edit manually. But it seems there is more to it than that.
