Public bug reported: I recently upgraded to the newest 18.10 I have disabled Ubuntu from requiring my password after the screen turns off due to inactivity but I'm still taken to the landing page as if I needed to unlock my computer. After sliding up or hitting enter the screen stays purple with the taskbar visible. I can click the application shortcuts on the taskbar but nothing happens afterwards. It doesn't happen every time, only once out of every 5 to 10 times.
