As I recall, this bug is about getting the error message "destination is read-only" on a drive which has become read-only one time during a login session despite remounting or inserting other drives which get the same device name.
If you don't see this error message, then your bug is a different one. Reading https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=50502#p50502 I see no similarities between the two cases. I didn't verify the fix with the updated glib packages available in bionic (2.56.x), but will do in the following days. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to glib2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1332623 Title: Thunar behaves inconsistently with USB flash drive FAT32 partitions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/1332623/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
