Public bug reported: Upstream bugs: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/issues/343 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/issues/766
Upstream Fix: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/commit/86080e646a81679761e09aee4071abf68a2dac3b Steps to reproduce: 1. Change to 100% zoom 2. Go to Preferences > Icon View Captions 3. There are three captions: First, Second & Third I expect to see that the 1st caption is displayed just below the file/folder name, 2nd is below 1st and 3rd is below 2nd. Current behaviour: The order of the captions is mixed up. The current order is this: - File/Folder Name - Third caption - First caption - Second caption Expected behaviour: - File/Folder Name - First caption - Second caption - Third caption ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: nautilus 1:3.26.4-0~ubuntu18.04.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-42.45-generic 4.15.18 Uname: Linux 4.15.0-42-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.9-0ubuntu7.5 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Sat Dec 8 09:17:30 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-11-29 (8 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Release amd64 (20180725) SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) usr_lib_nautilus: ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1807489 Title: Icon View Captions in Preferences do not appear in a logical order To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1807489/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
