I installed the packages from -proposed as per the instructions and had two issues:
1. Steam fails to launch with NVIDIA due to a "glXChooseVisual failed" error, which some cursory Googling suggests is due to a lack of 32-bit libraries—perhaps this is expected. 2. After switching from NVIDIA to Intel and logging out, the first attempt to log in again would seem to fail and just return me to the login screen. A second attempt would then succeed and take me to the desktop.
