Here some additional findings: I normally use 6 volumes which are mounted by logging in using a script. When only one volume is mounted, copying via Nautilus over the LAN occurs at “normal” pace. But when mounting two or more volumes, every copy operation is getting appalling slow. It affects then copying files from a USB-Drive too. It looks as if it is a matter of allocated memory space. The same scripts work with 16.04 LTS without problems.
Attached: the script used by log in. ** Attachment added: "mountAll" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1787193/+attachment/5187544/+files/mountAll -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1787193 Title: copying via Nautilus over the lan is very slow To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1787193/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
