Mark, gdm3, mutter, gnome-shell, and sometimes graphics drivers, all have multiple bugs that can result in these same symptoms. So it is helpful to not group bugs on the symptoms and track down the root cause of each person's problem separately.
Otherwise when it comes to declaring a bug fixed, one person will agree it is fixed and another will say it isn't. And the bug will forever be in deadlock because the two people were actually experiencing different bugs that need different fixes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1779476 Title: Ubuntu 18.04: gdm3 does not switch to graphics after update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1779476/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
