Hello Michael, or anyone else affected, Accepted desktop-file-utils into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/desktop- file-utils/0.22-1ubuntu5.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
