My Gnome theme is Awaita-dark, but I don’t see how this is related. /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css is a symlink to /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css is configured using update-alternatives /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css by default is a symlink to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css in my case is a symlink to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css
Modifying /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css (aka /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css) impacts the login screen Modifying /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css impacts the lock screen By default this is the same as the login screen. I would expect the lock screen to also use gdm3.css instead of ubuntu.css. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770827 Title: GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1770827/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
