Public bug reported: On my Ubuntu 17.10, which was upgraded from 17.04, the Settings -> Region & Language window includes a "Login Screen" button at the top right, which allows me to set language, format and input sources also system wide, i.e. affecting the login screen. The Ask Ubuntu answer <https://askubuntu.com/a/973915> shows its location.
However, on an (almost) fresh install of Ubuntu 17.10, that button is not present. I don't know what the intended design is in this respect. * If the button is supposed to be there, some dependency necessary for it to function might be missing. * If the button is not supposed to be there, is there some other GUI way to control those settings system wide? ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1730900 Title: "Login Screen" button not present in Region & Language To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1730900/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
