Yes, please attach the log files. And yes, most hybrid laptops have the Intel GPU wired to the panel. The Nvidia GPU (if enabled) just shares rendered frames with the Intel GPU. And it's the same display system regardless of whether Nvidia is enabled or disabled, so there's never any interruption to the picture on-screen as Nvidia is powered up/down.
