I have upgraded to herd5 (with xorg-7.2) but this problem still has not gone away.
The steps to reproduce this crash: 1. open a medium- to large- sized plain text document (> 7 pages, the larger the better) 2. go to file -> print, change some of the settings (e.g. print two pages on one page), go to print preview (within the print window). 3. close the print preview window.
