well, same timing. i also just tested it with vino 2.17.92-0ubuntu1, and i confirm: it still doesn't work.
i'm wondering if the VNC clients we're using also support that. I'm using ultraVNC. I'm saying that because both computers have slovenian keyboards, and that also the slovenian specific keys čšž don't work through that VNC connection, which is another problem than alt-GR.
