Public bug reported: I am clearing the journal per cron using `journalctl --vacuum-time=1d --quiet`. Unfortunately the `--quiet` is ignored, and the journalctl always outputs something like `Vacuuming done…`. This results in cron sending me an email, and I don’t like that.
I think that `--quiet` should suppress normal output of `journalctl --vacuum-time=1d`. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1692188 Title: journalctl --vacuum* ignores --quiet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1692188/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
