@ Andreas Moog (ampelbein) it is indeed the bug. your solutions provided in your latest reply does not work at all. \\n does not working with gedit at all.. currently I can do replace everything expert the very first line. Please note that I did try everything as suggested here. Simply it is not working and to me it looks like very well bug in gedit. There is nothing mentioned in docs of gedit to do so.. been searching about 68 hours now on internet - so far zero valid answers - I dont want to switch to other text editor.. can you resolve the issue on this editor - please.
