This is a good suggestion. A general workaround for all programs (at least in 16.04) is to, in the "Keyboards" utility, under the "Shortcuts" tab, in the "Sound and Media" section, change "Play (or play/pause)" to the the Bluetooth event. On mine, this changed it from "Audio play" to "Audio pause". Now, in Spotify, my bluetooth headphones can both pause and play the music (although I have to hit it twice for each). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1397142 Title: Bluetooth headset play/pause key not fully effective in various media players To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1397142/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
