update fixed this ** Description changed:
If you open calculator and type two numbers or more (not one) you can not read the numbers. All you will see is one big blob. I am running Ubuntu 17.04 with latest updates. One update seemed to cause this. Also this bug comes up sometimes in gedit and affects the whole distro. I can not mark this as affects all distros because launchpad gives an error ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.04 Package: gnome-calculator 1:3.22.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.8.0-27.29-lowlatency 4.8.1 Uname: Linux 4.8.0-27-lowlatency x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.4-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Fri Dec 30 16:45:13 2016 InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-03-18 (286 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Release amd64 (20160217.1) SourcePackage: gnome-calculator and gedit UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to zesty on 2016-10-24 using do-release-upgrade Cause: update to python, cups and dpkg-dev and gedit and gnome-calculator seemed to cause this. + + update fixed ** Changed in: gnome-calculator (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-calculator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1653293 Title: When typing in numbers, numbers are unreadable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calculator/+bug/1653293/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
